The Altivar ATV212 inverter drive is a recent updated version of the earlier version ATV21 variable speed motors from Schneider Electric. This VFD drive has an output frequency control of 0.5 to 200Hz, The Altivar 212 HVAC drive has been built for performance, intelligence and protection._x000D_

Its important that the drive is mounted in a dust and damp proof enclosure whilst in certain environment such as dust, corrosive gases, and high humidity also around any dripping or splashing liquid. This is to protect the drive and to ensure that whilst in the enclosure the maximum internal temperature can reach 50 °C. To help encourage efficient circulation, we recommend that you fit ventilation grills and remove the blanking cover from the top of the drive. The fan control strategy of the ATV212 means that the fans will start when the drive is in the RUN state. The fan will then stop after the STOP command has been given. There may be a time delay because of the thermal state._x000D_
