Omron Digital Counter_x000D_ The Omron H8PS series digital counter is an LCD display electronic panel mount cam positioner. This counter is logic input, flush mounting and 8 PNP transistor output device. The counter has a voltage rating of 24VDC. It is equipped with useful functions for switching encoder rotation direction, designating the point of origin._x000D_ Construction:_x000D_ The electrical signal of the absolute encoder is directly related to the angle of the shaft. The mechanical angular position is sensed by non-contact optical elements, therefore without wear. The output of an infrared diode is transmitted through a transparent code disc and diaphragm. The light/dark pattern is converted to an electrical signal by an array of photodiodes. The same code occurs only once per revolution. This encoder is defined as a single turn encoder._x000D_ Output circuit_x000D_ Types of code_x000D_ Any electronic code is made out of a combination of bits. Each bit is characterised by a low (0) or high (1) signal. The combination of a series of bits is called a binary word. This type of code is similar to the decimal system, except that there are only 1 and 0.
