The Omron CS series position/motion control units provides add on motion control to any CS1 PLC. It not only offers simple position measurement to multi-axis synchronised motion control, CS1 offers a full range of units. The counter units gather position information from SSI- or incremental encoders. The actual positions are compared with internally stored target values.
